Former WHITESNAKE Duo Put Project On Hold

December 3, 2002

COMPANY OF SNAKES, the band formed by ex-WHITESNAKE guitarists Bernie Marsden and Micky Moody, have put the band "on hold," according to a statement posted on the group's official web site. Although the statement goes on to say that the band are not splitting up, "after the recent tour in Russia and Scandinavia, the COMPANY OF SNAKES have no plans for any shows in the future, until the summer of next year at the earliest. There are a number of reasons for this decision, the main one being the lack of record company support over the last year. However, we would like to thank all our fans for the outstanding support you've given us over the last 5 years. There is a possibility of a COMPANY OF SNAKES DVD to be shot sometime next year, and of course the band members are continuing with their various non-COMPANY OF SNAKES projects."
